I’m a cybersecurity analyst with a strong foundation in machine learning, AI, and data analytics—skills I developed during my Master of Computer Science at Northeastern Illinois University. I’m passionate about applying cutting-edge technologies to solve real-world problems, especially where security, usability, and impact intersect. In a recent project, I developed and deployed a Flask-based web application on Google Cloud Run to gather user preferences on text tone and sentiment. Using machine learning, I modeled text tone to improve classification accuracy while incorporating secure coding practices to protect user data. As a Summer Research Student, I designed a methodology to quantify user engagement on social media, using statistical analysis to explore the relationship between sentiment and interaction. I presented insights through clear, data-driven reports, highlighting the value of emotional tone in online behavior. Previously, at Ascend Technologies, I contributed to a container optimization project by developing a C# program with Azure services to efficiently manage storage containers. I also prioritized thorough project documentation to support future development. My early research explored cultural awareness in web UI design for food security organizations. I created a rubric to evaluate cultural sensitivity based on identified performance indicators—an experience that deepened my interest in inclusive, human-centered technology. Now working in cybersecurity, I bring a research-driven mindset, a commitment to secure systems, and a passion for building technology that works—and works well—for people.
